Artisi
you said "is ready for collection at uk visa application center" so guess it means what it says - ready for collection.
theoldgit
But you will not know if the application is successful, though we all hope it is, until you actually open the envelope. VFS send the sms via their tracking system which says the application has been returned, they will not know the result. Good luck
ThaiVisaExpress
You must return to the UK/VAC and collect your documents open the envelope and you will either have a UK Visa inserted in your partners passport or a GV 51 which is a refusal of entry clearance. RobinHolmes
She may need shoes too, do you know her size? My wife has lived here (UK) for 2 years and loves the snow just like a child likes it. When we first met she came over for two weeks but as it is a six month Visa, we changed the flight and she stayed for 6 months so wew knew she could live in England and we could get on well. Remember to take lots of pictures as this will help with Fiance/marriage Visa. Mery Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Ricardo
I'd add woollen-hat and scarf and gloves to that list, also Damart thermal-underwear (if still available !) is a priority, Good Luck !
