Trying To Kick Coffee. Any Good Replacements? Milo, Ovaltine Or Something?

Featured Replies

Have been drinking coffee for several years now (usually instant because of convenience). In recent weeks I have to use the #1 real bad, all of a sudden like, several times a day and worst part wake up once or even twice a night in emergency. Saturday (12th) I said that's it and from Sunday (13th) until Sunday (20th) had not one drink and I noticed the toilet problem went away the whole time. I actually enjoyed the week being sober, but then this last Sunday and again Monday I had a cup and the problem crept back a bit. Feeling really groggy and miserable with no coffee. I guess I could try Coke and cola's but wonder what better stuff is out there. Can't stand garlic (heard some people use that for high energy) but if anything mild out there I might like to check it out. Those Ovaltine drinks are for wake-up energy, or just calories?

We're all adults here, and you can post "urinate". Frankly, I've never heard or read "had to use #1".

Are you confusing caffeine with alcohol, or are you trying to make a point?

Try drinking water. You'll still have to use the #1.
