A married Premier League football manager has been caught visiting a brothel - but the British Press cannot reveal his identity on human rights grounds.

SO WHO IS IT THEN...???

I find it hard to believe a 'Premiership' Manager could let down the Premier League so badly.

I mean it is totally irresponsible to go to a 'building on a shabby industrial estate' and then pay only GBP130/hour for sex. Many players in the league are paid over GBP100,000/week and they expect their managers to set a good example.

This could cause the whole EPL jamboree to unravel. Whatever next? England player caught eating dinner at MacDonalds?

sex for £130 an hour

Almost the cost of a return airticket to Thailand, pro-rata.

I'm completely gobsmacked! :)

:) Juicy tabloid stuff

It's RH

we have this running in the football forum

Just another example of the tabloid UK press trying to justify its habit of poking its nose into places that aren't its business. What would be good is if the journalists who work for this filth were subject to the same level of scrutiny as those who they victimise.

How would the public become aware of MP's expenses scandal as an example if the press did not investigate people who put themselves in the public eye.

Sadly, if the press in Thailand were as dedicated to investigative reporting as the British guys, there would be a lot less mai pen rai attitude. Digging up the dirt is part of their job.

Think the rumour going around is that it is Phil Brown, the Hull City boss.

Whilst you might not always appreciate the British press, they provide checks and balances on our dirty politicians. I'd much rather have that, than a passive press who just let things go. Don't think old Takki would have enjoyed delaing with the British press too much.

The shape of the shadow picture looks like Graham Taylor. Don't know if he's a prem manager or not though

Since it is a victimless crime it just another case of PC-driven sensationalist tabloid trying to sell more junk to make sure they are keeping the population stupid and in the dark of what is really going on.

Agree that tis is a pretty pointless and sensationalist pice of drivel, but I wouldn't suggest that the British press are notirely focused on feeding shit to the masses - there are some very good journalists in the UK, far more so than in other places which I will not mention.

As for the Soccer boss, it's up to him if hbe should choose to visit such an establishment -it's hardly eart shattering news - but then we've also seen all the nonsense that has surrounded Tiger Woods and his philandering, which has caught the imagination of the American press, so it would seem this sort of stuff is far from just a British trait.

BTW- The Sun Newspaper PC -(the original story originated from this paper) and The Daily Mail as quoted here? Don't make me laugh TAWP, you clearly have little knowledge of the British press if you think these are PC tabloids. Moralistic, pious yes, PC no.

PC in terms of 'New Moralistic', they are. The 'outrage' against visiting a brothel is purely manufactured and they have managed to create a situation where people react to such news in a way that isn't comparably to the 'how bad it is' in neither terms of law nor moral.

A quick google search reveals that the "Unit" in which the massages are available is only a 5 minute drive from Portsmouth FC's ground....

Doesn't take a genius to work out who has been a naughty boy from there

Of course the original source of this story The Sun, still has the tits on page three if I'm not mistaken, although having not been back to the UK for over 4 years I may be wrong. So maybe we could throw in the word hypocritical as well then TAWP?

Well that would mean that it would be Avram Grant in that case, but the rumour mill on the football forums is still suggesting Phil Brown. In the end who cares? I'm sure whoever it was had a happy ending. :)

Hence my usage of 'manufactured', as page 3 girls is something they have managed to make 'ok', while some of us from other nations lift our eyebrows when we see it. :)

Most interesting is of course that this is an attack on Britain's already attacked [and weak] privacy laws. Their long-term agenda with this is more worrying.

I am no lawyer but if the person in question has not been charged with anything then what gives the Sun etc the right to make allegations about him? Could be construed as slander. Just because he entered the place doesn't mean he didn't just have a soft drink and leave. :)

By the way, in the daily mail story (link in the football forum, it sure looks like Soi Cowboy in the photo of the girl?)
