Thumbnails In Windows

Featured Replies

While I am working on a photo project, I tend to keep the files with which I am working on my desk top. Under Vista almost none were thumbnails, but almost all just showed the general graphic for the program under which I worked on them.

I upgraded to Win7 (which, BTW is working great so far). Now 90% of the files show a thumbnail, but some still do not.

Certainly not a humongous problem, but any thoughts as to why some still do not?

In what format are you saving the files?

You can check the format of the ones showing thumbnails and the ones that don't.

Happy holidays!

In Vista you can choose whether to show thumbnail or not. Up to you as they say here :) I presume 7 is the same ?

Yes, I chose to show thumbnails and all are saved in JPEG format.
