Switching From Retirement To Tourist Visa

Yes, that is possible.

Another possibility is to get an additional 7 day extension of stay for 1,900 baht from immigration. You would need to show your ticket to confirm that you will leave the country within those 7 days and there is no guarantee it will be aproved. Also bring a photo.

Thanks Mario. Understand the 1,900 at Immigration but just want to confirm that Mae Sai is as easy as stamping out and then in?

sorry for asking twice, just don't want to get stuck on a formality.

Thanks

Yes, leave Thailand, enter Burma, leave Burma and re-enter Thailand. You will have to pay for entry into Burma.

Thanks for your patience.

much obliged.

:)

Do you have the option of using an Embassy Notorial as proof of income???? If it is an OA you can get a multiple reentry permit good for 1 year from your last entry!

Simple as hair pie! Just go to Immi and get some forms. When that reentry permit is almost done you'll need to jump thru thru the extension of stay process.. Similar to that of you OA with less junk...i.e. no med, no police paper etc. With that you can get another multiple reentry permit... Hair Pie again!
