Foreigner Captured for Smuggling Over 1 KG of Cocaine by Devouring

The Metropolitan Police announced the arrest of a suspect of illegal drug trafficking who was smuggling over a kilogram of cocaine.

Commander of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, Police Lieutenant Santharn Chayanon together with Bangna Police officers announced that they have managed to make arrests in two cases of illegal drug trafficking.

The first suspect is 30-year old Larbi George from Ghana, and he was found in possession of cocaine weighing over a kilogram and worth three million baht, a rucksack, and two mobile phones.

He was captured in front of Somsri Mansion in the Udomsuk area.

From an investigation of his travel documents, police discovered that the suspect has been entering Thailand since 2008 and has frequently traveled in and out via the Thai-Cambodia border to extend his visa.

Police said most of the evidence confiscated was stained by a liquid substance found in a human's rectum.

Therefore they believe the suspect swallowed part of the drugs before passing them to sell to high society customers. Meanwhile, they are investigating the case further.

Initially, the foreign suspect was charged with possession of cocaine and illegal drug trafficking.

As for the second case, Bangna police were able to arrest two 24-year old suspects, a male and female--Amorn Makmungmee and Suppadawan Kardharn, who were found to be in possession of 50 grams of the crystal methamphetamine hydrochloride or 'Ice', worth 150,000 baht, 100 amphetamine tablets, three estacy pills, two mobile phones, and drug paraphernalia.

Police captured the two suspects after raiding room 221 of the Grand Place building in the On-nut area.

Initially, police filed first degree charges against the suspects for possession of illegal drugs with the intent to sell.

The suspects have admitted that they have been selling drugs to teens around On-nut and Bangna for over three months.

Funny isn't it despite the mountain of evidence to support it.. The liberals and the do gooders still refuse to admit these people are only visiting Thailand for the wrong reasons.. These must be the same customers who are never busted? It's only the Yaba bar girls and teen motorbike gang members who are ever done for drug use in Thailand (ignoring foreigners, of course, who seem to get nicked regularly with personal use supply).

Are there regular busts and court cases in Bangkok where posh dinner parties and clubs are raided and wealthy cokeheads urine-tested and arrested?
