The appropriate examples here e.g. Sexxx life after marriage problems, help! my gtg girlfriend is cheathing on me, thai students. where can i meet 'em and so on. When you mention on Thai women, doesn't matter good or bad, your topic will be moved/closed. But if you talk about Thai men, nevermind good or bad, the topic will be interesting and they will discuss proudly and never ending. More futher, topics on Farang girls, even if asking for date or where they live/what they are, topics will never be banned. One fairly good example of this is the topic " where I can meet Farang girls", this topic still exists no moved/banned. But if you ask where you can meet Thai women, your topic will be killed.

I'm not at all a mod, but I have seen the occasional plea for a female opinion on something get answered here. I think a few Thai ladies do post from time to time as well. The name change was meant to let Thai and other non-farang women know that they were not being excluded from the conversation.

Keep in mind that farang women are a small minority here and in BKK. Personally, I sit through a lot of guy talk in general (and while that's okay) it's nice to have a place online to chat and meet with other women in a similar situation without that.

In general if you post here I'd advise you to re-read your post knowing the majority here are farang women. On the plus side most of the regular female posters are much less likely to flame someone than many other places here although those who post boorish things repeatedly do eventually get it. And good.

This is the best explanation in general to explain it:

Jai Noi sure!, Jai rai, jai dum, jai rai mungun - fat lesbian with issues? :o

Well, I have noticed since the name change numerous postings by men who have nothing to do but bash. Constant inquiries into the state of the female mind by men who are clueless are tiresome to us women who would like to discuss our own things in our forum.

Read the forum rules please!

This section of ThaiVisa.com is dedicated to women living in/travelling to or interested in Thailand.

All posters male or female are welcome to post here but this section is predominately for women.

As such I ask that you do not abuse/flame or troll here. That includes making derogatory comments towards women or men or abusing posters.

Please read the forum rules posted below & bear them in mind before posting.

Please also note that this isn't a dating site & any requests or URL's to external sites will be removed.

If you see anything here that you would like to discuss or complain about please private mail me, if you are receiving abusive mails from other members please contact either myself or one of the other mods or admin. Boo

This is a good example of what not to post here. Maybe the pub, Hong Khlaay Khriat, general topics or even barladies.com would provide a better audience for such eloquent commentary. Thanks for obliging torny!

excuse me ladies :o:D

I am the mod in this section Jai Noi & I'm wondering what started this post??

This forum is for women, all men are welcome provided they are respectful & I rarely close a topic unless it isn't related to women in thailand & as the forum rule state that this isn't a dating service, other mods may remove posts that they think are better suited to other sections or that they feel aren't suitable for thaivisa forum in general.

Anyone asking where they can meet uni students gets banned as this isn't a section for that sort of thing, anyone asking where western women hang out will stay as this is where the western women post most of the times so giving the names of bars or pubs where they go are not breaking the rules.

Anyone posting a personal ad & asking specifically for a women will be removed, the sexx life after marraige post was moved as far as I can see not trashed & anyone asking where to meet thai students will get canned faster than anything, as we (thaivisa) have no interest in promoting those types of posts, particually in the womens section.

There are plenty of posts in this section started & including thai women so I don't think you really have a point. The thai women who post here also don't want to be bombarded with insulting references to thai women or where you can meet them, how easy it is to get them or how much money they are going to scam off them so we tend to be over diligent on these post in this section (not so in other sections) and as has been pointed out by sbk, some people just like to come to this section to have a go & I don't put up with that either.

Many men have started posts here asking questions about their thai girlfriends (about gifts, ways to understand them better etc)& we have kept those open & answered in kind as they interesting & non derogatory posts.

This forum used to be called farang girls in thailand but I requested a change so as to include all women in or from thailand, now I think that is better but obviosly you have a bee in you bonnet about something but I also updated the forum rules & anyone posting here should read them beforehand then they wont get confused as to who this section is for will they??

If this post isn't comprehensive enough for you then please raise it with the admins, George & Dr PatPong as I think I have explained clearly enough. :o

That's one fine explanation, Boo. :o

Exactly. This could really be my sanctuary - where I could be sure I wouldn't get some brainless remark like "All Thai women are $#%@" and such.

I moved the post in question out of here as it wasn't relevant regardless of if the women you were talking about are farung or Thai. Why don't you just continue the thread where it is? I move about a dozen on some days into their appropriate forums but you are the only one to take it so hard. Relax, I didn't close it, I just moved it. Carry on.

I'd love to reply but I don't know what she's talking about.

Sometimes I think nobody is as sensitive to perceived discrimination as the Great Old White Male (the same species that, incidentally, holds most of the power positions in this world if anybody failed to notice...)

:o Happy happy, funny funny.
