Hi all,

I need your support in order to understand how to track an international (from Italy) insured shipment to Thailand.

On December 16, 2009 I sent via italian post an insured shipment to Bangkok; the shipment left Italy on December 23, 2009.

I've the tracking number, but it does not work on the Thai post web site: where can I check the shipment status online ? Which is the average delivery time ?

It can take 2 weeks for a parcel to go from Australia to Thailand, I would not be too concerned just yet.

The OP doesn't realize he shipped in the absolute busiest period of the year where millions and millions of packages are transported all over the world.

Patience is the word.

Also: one has to know the connection between the Italian Post and Thai post; in many cases there is no interconnection between the post offices of the various countries; it's like searching for a needle in a haystack.

If the parcel left December 23rd..what do you expect? you're talking about 5 working days so far...........

For next time I would advise a courier if the content is important.

You should contact the post office or company that you sent it with they will be able to give you the information.
