Visa Based On Visiting Friends?

Hi,

im in thailand right now and flying to KL tomorrow to make my 30 day border run.

I read about the NON-O Visa based on visiting friends.

What requirements do i need to fulfill for this type of visa?

Can i just go to immigration in KL, fill in application and pick up my visa next day?

Please let me know in detail what i need to qualify for this visa and which is the best embassy to go to.

You will not get such visa in SEA unless you are retired or married to Thai.

Nearest consulate issuing Non-O based on visiting friends is Perth, Australia.

You must bring ID copy from Thai friend and letter asking for the visa.

Give Stuttgart or Munich a try. There have been positive reports in the past. Give them a ring and ask.
