Pattaya Hotel

Featured Replies

Hello, I have a disabled friend visiting next week and need to find him a hotel in Pattaya. Obviously the room must have full disabled facilities, ideally have a pool, located on the beach or second road with of a budget under 2000b a night.

(Also need room in Hua Hin, Ao Nang Krabi and Lamai Koh Samui, but will post in local forums.)

Many thanks.

Hello, seems hard to find, and for sure not cheap..

anyway, look at this site ... http://www.tvtrip.com/pattaya-hotels-ameni...hair_accessible

have a look at the hotels and be sure to play the movies as wel !!

Sunbeam Hotel is a great location (between soi 7 and soi8) for nightlife and near the beach, see http://www.venere.com/img/hotel/5/0/4/6/27...map_coast_1.jpg

but, as i said, is not cheap. Maybe you can find some deals on booking-sites.

The former Lake Mabprachan resort is now renamed into Roll-in Resort. All wheelchair friendly rooms and as far as I understand one of the owners/managers is also disabled.

There is a place at the back of Manhattans that has been operating for years called Baan Sabai Jai Yai (not sure on spelling)

Also there is a new 20 room house (huge house) in the village I live in at Suwattana Gardens on Soi Neurn Plub Wan - they have 24 hour staff, assisted lift in swimming pool etc - their website address is http://www.rehabscandinavia.com/

I had a look at their website and the pictures they have used were all taken before they renovated the place with special needs in mind.

Hope this helps.

Wow.....

located on the beach or second road
... I guess it was just too hard to resist posting stuff that completely missed the remit. :)

Ma Maison has Wheelchair Friendly rooms on the ground floor and is some 50 metres from the beach. The room is just a few metres from the pool.

Thanks for all the replies.

Managed to book my friend in at the Ibis Hotel who have one disabled room on each floor, same price as a regular room. Rooms still on the small side but clean and functional. Sabai Empress near soi 1 on the second road also have disabled rooms and the hotel seems alot more wheelchair friendly. The rooms are very big (I would say twice the size of the disabled room in the Ibis). Quoted a price of 1350b per night so will be changing hotels tomorrow!
