Pleasant memories - you made a lot of people happy - not many can truly say that - well done

RIP Martin you will be sadly missed, you made life in the jungle that little bit more bareable for a lot of us over the years......

A good friend lost, today, Surin loses some of it's appeal to me.

R.I.P Martin

Thanks for the welcome and advice you gave us during our stays in Surin like you gave to thousands of others.

You will be missed

On the ocassions I met Martin he was always good fun and full of useful information, a larger than life character ... Surin will be a poorer place without him ... R.I.P.

TBWG :)

I thought I'd sign in especially for you mate, see ya for a farewell beer soon.

Rest In Peace Martin :D

Kurgen :)

Very sad news. RIP Martin.

Thanks for your hospitality, help and advise the times I've stopped by the Farang Connection!

R.I.P. Martin - Surin will be a quieter place without you.

Very sad news. Martin was an exemplary host, with a special brand of humour. I shall miss seeing his posts on this board. He fought gamely on to the end but I guess the cards were always stacked against him once his diagnosis was known. Gone but not forgotten.

:) Martin........ I pray for your peace and wish you happiness during your new journey. You will be and are missed on this world. Farewell, R.I.P. :D

If there were any reasons to visit Surin, Martin and his Farang Connection were top of the list. Will miss his outgoing personality, devotion to customer service and vast knowledge of the area. Those who come later will not know what they missed.

Martin, may you get your reward.

Thanks for all your advise over the years Martin nice knowing you R.I.P.

My condolences to his family and friends.

RIP Martin.

Very sad news indeed. Martin was one of the characters that I enjoyed viewing on TV and I am sure he will be missed both on TV and in Surin. My condolences to his family and friends. Fair winds and a following sea Martin. RIP

Oh crap :)

We will all miss you mate, you brought that special something into a lot of lives.

Mine was certainly better for having known you.

I met Martin a couple of times, he was a friendly, entertaining guy. RIP.

RIP Martin.

Nice to have had the opportunity to meet him on several occasions... always a pleasant and helpful guy.

Condolences to Sunee, family and friends.

Atheism: I don't believe this shit

This makes me sad to hear.

Martin will absolutely be missed. Can't think of how it will feel going to FC and not seeing him around.

He was a very nice person always trying to make other people laugh and feel good.

R.I.P Martin.

Martin was alway's helpfull to all the surin newby's, his RAF dry humour was great; unless you were on the wrong end of it!4_9_19.gif

I was married last March in Surin and specifically hunted out FC for some cold beers. There was about six of us outside FC and (as I now know) Martin made us very welcome. A good time was had.

I'll pay my respects in April when I'm next in Surin. R.I.P.
