Cheap Bangkok Hotels

Can anyone recommend a good cheap hotel (under £20/night) located towards the centre of the Bangkok?

Me and a friend, 18 + 22, are travelling to Bangkok on Thursday. We aren't looking to stay in Bangkok for long, but we'd like a good few days in a decent, clean hotel so we can clean up and explore a little bit of the capital before exploring Thailand's islands.

have a look at the pinned thread hotels on the forum try the Honey Hotel around 750 baht per night on Soi 19 its close to the entertainmnet areas

I think it would be an idea to tell us where abouts in bangkok you would like to stay.. for instance which area, what are your plans in Thailand ?

Due to your ages I'm wondering if somewhere near Khao San wouldn't be more suitable
