A New Nonm Imm 'o' Stamp On A Nearly-full Passport

Featured Replies

Hello All

I'm going back to uk (for a week) to get a new non-imm 'O' visa.

I've only a few pages left on my passport

I plan to get a new passport in about 6 months - How do I transfer the non imm O visa to my new passport

thanks to anyone who can advise and cheers to all on here

LL

You will not be transferring the visa only your permission to stay stamp

When you have your new passport go to immigration to get your permission to stay stamp transferred to your new passport. As said, your visa will not be transferred as not issued by Thai immigration, and you will therefore need to travel using both passports until the visa has expired. There is no charge but photo copies of old and new passport will be required and a one page form will need completing.

An American can get pages added for free. Much faster than obtaining a new passport.
