george Posted April 27, 2005 Share Posted April 27, 2005 Bangkok Airways' first flight from Samui lands in Hong Kong Bangkok Airways' first flight arrived today at Hong Kong International Airport as the airline now begins its scheduled service to fly nonstop between Hong Kong and Samui. Kicking off on April 22 th, 2005; Bangkok Airways' Hong Kong-Samui route will be serviced by the young fleet of the 120-seat Boeing 717-200 aircraft, which can promise travel time of only approximately three hours. Samui-Hong Kong Hong Kong-Samui PG298 08.40-12.40 (Mon, Wed, Fri) PG299 13.40-15.40 (Mon, Wed, Fri) * Hong Kong is one hour ahead of Thailand 's local time. Bangkok Airways began its first international service from its award-winning Samui airport to Singapore in March 1997.
