List of border crossing points with Laos ? Traveling south from Vientiane in Laos, where to enter Thailabnd ?

I am looking for a list of border crossing points between Thailand and Laos.

I am traveling south from Vientiane and don't know yet when I will go back to Thailand, and where, so I would like to know where are the border crossing points in Laos to try to travel not far from these places in case I want to go back.

What is the next point to go back to Thailand when leaving Vientiane ? Is it Savannakhet to Mukdahan?

And then is there another crossing point before reaching Chong Mek near Ubon Ratchatani or nothing for foreigners betweeen Mukdahan and Ubon Ratchatani ?

I am sorry that I was only thinking of the Savannakhet/Mukdahan option, which you already know about. I hope to return to my old apartment tomorrow and pickup the Lonely Planet Guide, the Michelin map book, and a fairly accurate map of Thailand.

I will bookmark this thread and reply tomorrow evening with anymore southward border crossings if they have not been identified by then.
