Spalpeen Posted January 11, 2010 Share Posted January 11, 2010 I saw two fixed wing ultralights based at a strip up beside Silverlake a few months ago. They looked like they were doing passenger flights. The two u/l fields near Pattaya are Eastern and one up past Horseshoe Point. Changian Posted January 12, 2010 Share Posted January 12, 2010 1500 - 1700 for 15 minutes is the going rate in Chiang Mai & Koh Chang with 30 minutes for 2,900 ish. The fixed wing ultralights are way more expensive here than in US and there are far fewer of them with even fewer good pilots. So no reason for flights to be cheaper here.
