Firstly as a new member let me say hello to all the forum members.

I am coming to Thailand in a few weeks with my gf and am looking for a decent hotel in the Nong Ki area or even Chok Chai.

Any suggestions and details would be appreciated.

I dont know about Chok Chai but there is no such thing as a decent hotel in Nong Ki......in fact there is no hotel at all, just some bungalow resorts that you can book into. They are ok for a couple of nights but dont have any food etc. If you like Isaan food then you will be ok but otherwise I suggest you keep well away from Nong Ki mate.

I'm sure if you are not a regular visitor to Isaan then you would do better staying in Korat and hiring a car and going down there for the day. Plenty of hotels and good food here.
