modafinil
Hi, I'm planning on staying in Thailand for up to a year. I'm looking for an insurance policy that will cover emergency medical expenses, and hopefully the cost of having a spill on my scooter (Thai roads being a bit on the dangerous side). Do a lot of Thai expats/long-term vacationers take out these kind of insurance? Are they worth it? Any policies you could recommend? (I'm from the UK, I don't have a motorbike license). Thanks
ThaivisaInsurance
Should you take medical insurance ................... Well if you do not have medical cover and you have an accident/hospitalized then the cost can be quite prohibitive. The premium obviously depends on your age and the standard of care you expect. As a Thai Visa member may we suggest you go Here for a quote ?
Tolley
Get travel insurance for a year that should cover it all.
modafinil
Thanks for the advice, sounds like a year's travel insurance is what's required
