haroldc
I would appreciate any recommendations for a good dentist in Udonthani. My son was in a bad accident - his upper jawbone was broken and he lost many teeth. I don't know anything about what sort of reconstructive options are available, but I'm hoping to find a dentist who has experience with accidents. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sheryl
I suggest you go to the Dental Hospital affiliated with Khon Kaen University Hospital. http://www.dentistry.kku.ac.th/EngDent/Hospital/Clinics.htm Your son may need a specialist in maxilo-facial surgery as well as reconstructive dentistry, they can provide this. KKU Hospital is a regional medical center so higher level of care than the usual provinical level hospital. It is a government facility so costs will be reasonable but red tape considerabl;e and having a Thai speaker along helpful. If you prefer to go to a private facility some of the professors at KKU are on staff at KhonKaen Ram Hospital, altho I am afraid I can't give a specific name. Contact the hospital and ask about a specialist in maxilo-facial surgery.
