Bangkok Airways Question

Featured Replies

Forgive me if this is a really silly question, but I'm a bit new to all this flight booking stuff!

I want to book a flight from Phuket --> Koh Samui, on the ticket details it says:

"Ticket is valid for travel within 3 months from the first travelling date"

Does this mean I don't have to travel on the exact flight I have booked?

Also, do you think accommodation at Koh Samui the day before full moon needs to be booked in advance or will we be able to get something when we turn up? Not really fussed what type of accommodation we get, just want something cheap!

Thanks in advance!

Correct. You don't have to travel on the exact flight you booked. You have to use the ticket within three months of the current departure date if you want to change the departure date.

Bangkok Airways has always amazed me as to how flexible they are. In the past, I have booked the cheapest seats possible, then once turned up to the airport a bit early, asked if it was possible to get on an earlier flight, and told no problem, and no extra charge.

I wish Qantas and Jetstar in Australia would learn from them. Would be great to have an airling hat focuses on service.

A bit off topic, but I joined Bangkok Airways Frequent Flyer program, and go a free flight last year. I only travelled with them a few times a year, but add them up, plus a few points on my birthday, and a few to fill out a survey, and hey presto. They are clever, because everyone I talk to I reccomend Bangkok Airways.

You will have absolutely no trouble finding accomodation on Koh Samui, anywhere, its quiet still.

But do you mean Samui or do you mean Koh Phanyang where the full moon party is held?

HL :)

I recommend you try the Mermaid resort in Bangrak. Rooms start from 600 Baht. Good location for boats to Haad Rin.
