A message from Leanne

John's daughter

DO NOT WEEP

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am in a thousand winds that blow.

I am a diamond glint on snow.

I am a sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush;

I am in the graceful rush

of quiet birds in circling flight.

I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am not there; I do not sleep.

Dad

In fond memory of

JOHN GARBUTT

1st September 1957 – 25th January 2010

Dad,

I don't know where to begin. No words can say how much I love you and how devastated I am to lose you. You meant the world to me, I was always your little girl and adored you and always will.

You are an immense loss to so many- me, Ann, Mandy, Kathy, Margy, Norman and the rest of your family. Your many friends including Peter, Mark, all at the Lord Nelson, Harry, Paul and many others will miss your banter, your humour and cheeky traits.

I know you have had many happy times in your life, in Hartlepool, Portsmouth and in Pattaya Thailand. Although we spent a lot of time apart, you were always in my thoughts and close to my heart. It is so difficult to think this has all come to an end.

All I can say Dad is that you will be sadly missed. I know you are looking down on us with Fella and others.

Until we meet again, love for always. Leanne
