Work to start on 1992 monument

BANGKOK: -- The construction of a monument near Rajdamneon Avenue to commemorate those killed in the 1992 Black May bloodshed will begin on February 20, when lottery vendors who have long occupied the site have moved out.

Relatives of the victims met officials from the Government Lottery Office as well as lottery vendors yesterday after the vendors refused to leave the site. The site for the monument was agreed upon 10 years ago, but the GLO reportedly failed to advise the vendors.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is in charge of building the monument, the construction of which will be supervised by a panel of relatives representing those who were killed in the pro-democracy rally that was violently suppressed by the Army.

Since 1992 until today, no any memorial about 1992??? All 18 years not a thing?

Those other dates you mentioned, i don't know for any of them. What happened that time?
