Living In Phang-nga?

Featured Replies

I'm thinking about moving to another place in Thailand. I previously lived in Nongkhai and now in Trang. I'm thinking now to move to Phang-nga province (near Phuket).

Does any one live there? Is it a nice place to live or not?

Where do you live? Do you lke it?

Sure. I live in Khao Lak, Phangnga province, since 2000. Nice place? Brother, do you ever read the news , or watch it on television? Phangnga has been very heavily hit by the december 26, 2004 tsunami. My resort was flattened by the wave, I barely managed to escape running, 2 staff and 5 guests died, and I suffered 4 million + Baht financial loss. You are looking for a nice place to live? Damaged countryside, everybody is unemployed. So many people died, Thais and tourist and resident farangs. Nevertheless......still a nice place to live....but be aware that circumstances in Phangnga province in the coastal area are still a bit special. You are welcome to PM me, cheers, K.
