Thai Wife Going Egypt

Hi there

I was planning on taking my thai wfe to egypt for a holiday in may. I was just wonderng about the visa process for egypt as I have read conflicting views on whether she will need one or not. She has ILR for the Uk and has a job and has been paying taxes for 3 years here. I was just wondering will we need one....how easy it would be to get one and whether or not we would have completed the process for the end of may if we were to start withn the next few days. This is because I have seen a holiday whch I felt for the money was well worth getting as the deal was running out tomorrow. Also we are going sharm el sheikh as from what I have read this could make a difference to the visa

I seem to recall that an Egyptian poster posted an announcement some time last year that Egypt had brought in a visa on arrival policy for Thai's. You might want to do a forum search on the word Egypt.

I did that and that was where it all started to get complicated for me. I will keep searching and maybe someone can clarify for sure....thanks
