Last Night Road Block Bohput Traffic Lights Why ?

sore a green motor bike on the road just a bike in the middle of the road. no car or anything round it apart from police and ambulances.

1 hr later i sore he bike in the bakc of a police car about 3 miles down the road. about 40 minutes later at bohput traffic lights whick is about 1 km fro the innocent they were stopping motor bikes an lifting up there seat inccodent. which rules out hit and run. might have been drug searches though. they were too quick. just glabced at the bikes then off.looked as though they were searching for weapons.

so if my asumption is correct was the bike incodent an attack rather than an acciden. sore the bike on the road 9.00 pm police drive past with bike in the back about 10.pm. got stopped in road block 10.30 pm. 7th feb

It seems to be a lot of police activity around ring road of late. Seen a police bike actually chase a car ( siren on) & stop it, first time I see that.

Lots of police standing at intersections & booking people ( issuing tickets) . Maenam the big usual road blocks, checking cars & bikes.

Yes, there has been alot of police activity on the ring road. I've seen black police cars racing past me, both times with their sirens on! Maybe there's someone important on the island

Well i had to read it 4 times as i was amazed & didn't believe how someone could mix up " sore " as in " I have a sore that is infected " & " saw " as in " I saw a Motorbike Accident ", 3 times in one Post..

& " inncoent " with what i assume to be " incident " ??

fells like i am back at school on heres some times gtting marks on a test then gettin told off the next day. i don't care i am used to it. did my finished my wholle 2 months at school. actually my thai is better than my ennglish. maybe i am going to the wrong school lol

anyway. they was yet another 1 last night next between manam and lamui. same thing just up the motor bike seats hen off again. think they are looking for someone. acting on a tip off. or maybe drugs. or maybe something to so with chinease new year. maybe have some V.I.P's down ploice want to look active. maybe some of the local forang Tourist pllice helpers could let us in ???

Well Limbos, I expect they are just being visible, as a deterrent. I don't expect any demonstrations as such. They did that a few years back, when the trouble down south started. It's a tourist area & reading the various news sources , security & police presence is being beefed in several areas.

They put up a new police box in intersection Lakeside road - Lakeview road and it was manned.

You policemen, looks like they just come into service.

Something has happened for sure.
