Pattaya Recommendations

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Arriving soon and looking for your suggestions. Have visited Thailand several times but this will be the first time to Pattaya. Have learned and received much information from TV members thanks for your positive contributions.

1. Restaurants: Favorite Thai, Korean and Mexican?

2. Motor bike rental: recommendations? Do all renters ask for passport? Not easy to give up passport for a week at a time.

3. Where can I find a city map and area map?

Again Thanks for your assistance.

I always a rent a bike from this guy:

[email protected]

0874406060

He charges 200 per day or 1000 for the week, no need to leave your passport and he can deliver to your hotel.

Also the bikes are new 125cc full auto and smart looking with and can lock the helmet under the seat.

You can get a free map at the Tourist infomation booth at the start of walking street, or most hotels have them in reception.

cheers

You can pick up a good map for free at the aiport highlighting points of interest...then take it from there.

If you don't want to rely on local transport...PM me for further details.

Leng Kee restaurant, Thai/Chinese, central road/soi Buikow. Top food.

Mexican restaurant on Soi 7 or soi 8 is crap.

WEAR YOUR HELMET :) .

Have a good one.

Restaurants: Thai- they're everywhere. For Korean, Mexican- just search TV for past reccommendations... they're there, and it's easy!

Motorbikes: You should be able to find 2,000 bant/ month,,, but can settle for 1,000 baht/ week if you decide to. All renters should be willing to accept a copy of your passport; if not... keep looking!

City Maps: Everywhere; easy to find after you arrive.
