Can anyone help me by suggesting a suitable pump that will pump, direct from the well, when a tap is opened in the house. Also i need a strong pump that will "lift" about 30 ft. With good pressure. Crossy Posted February 15, 2010 Share Posted February 15, 2010 How deep is the well and what is its diameter (is it a well or a bore)? That will determine the type of pump you require. How much head is required (height from the pump to your water outlets). It's possible that two pumps and a tank would be the best solution.
