May 12, 200521 yr I just got the white registration plates & Blue Book for our Fortuner. The Chassis, Engine Number etc are correct but the vehicle is described as HILUX. On the Annual Road Tax page the amount is entered as Baht 5676 for one year. Call it a Fortuner or Hilux (on which it is based), I’m not concerned but could the incorrect description cause a future problem?

My Hilux 2WD pick-up is 900 baht/year. I should get it sorted if I was you - but I think they've got the road tax right.
May 13, 200521 yr The tax is high as the car is classed as a 3.0L passenger car, not a truck. I wouldn't worry about the HiLux thing.
May 14, 200521 yr Author Thanks Terdsak, that's my impression. I will take it up with the agent who sold the vehicle and arranged the registration. The tax is high as the car is classed as a 3.0L passenger car, not a truck. I wouldn't worry about the HiLux thing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
