Langham Place - Explain Illegal Floating Walkway

Why not deliver the letter by hand? Can you write one for Nikki beach resort too they seem to have ruined Lipa Noi with their version. Looks like this will be catching on around the island, now lets see who can get the biggest baddest platform up and running.

I did take a pole out and tried to fish (the water is no deeper than a meter at the best of times) and although I was the only person on the walkway, some Thai came out and said I could not be there and that it was for guests only. Then an elderly foreign man came and barked, "Thanks for understanding!" I didn't understand and said what has been posted, that the beach is crown land. I was told it was private property and was given the impression that I was not welcome to come back.

I am not sure how after seeing the posted video anyone can say this is an improvement on the scene.

it might have a boat liscence. if anyone stops them they can say that they are parked. i am sure they have got the right people to back them up if it is still there

:D:D i have seen the walk way now. i kno what u lot mean. i like it. u could park a boat there. not sure if u r alloud though samui does definatly need a marine park. well i like it that is all i have to say. i am sure they have all the right permits if people want it closed down then and the have loads of time on their hands then up to them for me it doesn't bother me. i think there should be more. more for boats. we need a marine park. like phuket. it willl attract the rich and rich people means that more better looking ladies will come and ev ery happy :D:D

BigC, now you're talking! Join me for a boatride sometimes and we stop at the nice Langham dock for cocktails and a view of the rich :)

sounds good to me better than complaining an moaning :) a taste to the good life

That thing is ok.

Considering all the ugly advertisement boards around the island and the cables, the palm tree clearance. Better put all the complaining energy into something more essential to beautification.

The illegal walkway as it is now.

Clearly you can see the anchor in the sand, which is clearly not allowed.

Hopefully, but unlikely, the owners will see the folly and take that whole mess away.

Or maybe just leave it; this is Samui, who really gives a crap?

SOMETHING YOU ARE ALL MISSING:-----------

Have any of you ever heard of this place in the photo.

Well there are 2 of those piers there, one owned privately and the other owned by, by, by, ..... yes yes you guessed it.

So you have no hope what so ever in even getting a response from any marine or habour dept on removing this pier.

Its Thailand is it not? so forget it....... your waisting your time.........
