The wife has just mentioned that on Thai TV it mentioned that a bomb had exploded outside the Hoilday Inn in Silom / nearby Bangkok Bank. Anybody heard anything about this, as there is nothing mentioned in the media at the moment?

On Channel 7 news now (22:26). Looks like nobody hurt luckily. Looks like 2 guys on a motor bike threw a device which damaged cars and nearby buildings.

A bomb exploded in front of Bangkok Bank's headquarters on Silom Road on Saturday night, shattering the bank's window, police said.

Police are also alerted about a suspicious object, possibly an explosive in front of the Bangkok Bank's Rama II branch.

Police and bomb squad rushed to both scenes.
