A fair bloody...but not the best recipe. Need celery, some kind of pickle (including some of it's juice), some tobasco, salt around the rim, lime and preferrably Clamato juice...way better than tomato juice. Even Mr. T's is good. Have not seen Clamato or Mr. T's anywhere in Pattaya. :)

But still have not heard where the best BM is here in town???? My Dad was a master of BMs. It was a mandatory thing on Sundays...or any day he declared a holiday!

^ Clamato Juice at Villa... bought some last month.

You can also sprinkle some celery salt on the top.

And when you use Clamato, it becomes a 'Caesar' and not a Bloody Mary eh?

Years (and years) ago, the management at the TQ on Beach Road set up a Bloody Mary bar on the south end of the building where there used to be a driveway into the motel behind the bar. It was an after-hours affair and fed the Walking Street party animals on their way back to hotels further north.

Thanks for the tip on the Pattaya CC&BC meeting point; I will be sure and drop by next Friday morning.

Perfect! My wife does not like tomato juice, but does like Clamato....so that works great! And then I can ask her if she wants a Caesar! Celery salt is a great touch...

The key to a decent Bloody Mary over the counter here is the brand of tomato juice they use. Some local product is watery and sweetened and murders the cocktail, especially if they also fall short on any of the fixin's to spruce it up. That's pretty much the case for the BM at Sportsman Soi 13; too sweet and thin and needs LOT'S of fixin's to give it restorative powers.

Looking forward to jt's report from Jomtien Soi 4. In the meantime, if you have Clamato juice, condiments and a wife that can mix cocktails, then there's no need to go out!
