Photo Copying At Samui Immigration

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

can I copy what needs copying from my passport for a Visa Extension at or around Samui Immigration Office ??

Cheers

Expect to pay through the nose for it though! (compared to normal photo copying shops, that is)

I would make any copies needed before you get there if you can.

The guy outside is much cheaper than getting immigration to do it but it is cheaper still to get it done elsewhere before hand. The guy outside also does photos.

he aint expensive. nuff said out side immergration not expensive

160 for 3 photos, and a copy of the passport pages. Shop on the right of immigration.

Perhaps for frustrating experience when you there, especially all the non-english people taking up room who argue the toss for 20 mins that they cant get a 30 day non-imm extension now only a 7 day, slowing things down for everyone else. Also whatever time they say add another hour, if you drop at 12 and they say 2pm, come back 3pm. If you dont qualify for a 30 day, then for the 7 day extension - 1900, I'd say that its better just paying 3500 overstay and not wasting your day

Last time I did it in January I paid the guy at the shop and the girl at Immigration charged my 20 baht anyway even though they didn't have to make a photocopy. I laughed it off, TIT.
