Priority Pass In Thailand

Recommended Posts

I've been searching the net for info on how to get a Priority Pass in Thailand. I've got a Platinum Visa card with Kasikorn, and will get a Platinum MasterCard next week hopefully. I know that in many other countries you automatically get a Priority Pass if you have a Platinum MasterCard. Is this also the case in Thailand?

in which countries pray tell?

Quick google search for some "evidence" links:

And I know it comes with MasterCard Platinum in Denmark where I originate from as well.

"Priority Pass" ? Maybe your KFC gets delivered quicker.

Do yourself a favour and buy a Thailand Elite card. There must be plenty going cheap right now.

I'm not buying anything... Just since I'm getting the MasterCard anyway, I wanted to hear if the priority pass came with it.

This may seem a stupid question but have you asked the bank? If anybody knows they will. :)

Fair question :D I have yeah, but my local branch is as useful as asking the local ice cream lady. I have yet to experience them knowing the answer any question I've made without calling the Kasikorn hotline and giving me the phone. The person I talked to on the phone did not know what Priority Pass was, so that made me think it might not come with the card.

I would get a Platinum MC just for that benefit - most of my flights are regional and sadly, the company only pays for economy. My Platinum Visa does get me into the Thai lounge, but only in Swampy.

I can add some thoughts - I too am a Priority Pass holder from a UK i24 Master Card.

Most of the time I do not need it but it will come in handy when I use United Airlines for a Bangkok Tokyo return trip in a few weeks (still get the points on my blue BMI Card).

I would suggest your best bet is to ask Priority Pass itself. It will cause the thought process to kick in. Give them the name of your bank/platinum card and ask.

Strategy is always a good thing IMO :)
