scorecard Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Yesterday several sources suggested that many didn't return to the main site after the activity at the Army base on Phayonyothin. Any members seen any up to date detail on the current numbers of protestors today.
ivowatson Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 There seem to be only around 20.000 left. It is my understanding many were paid for 4 days only (2000 up and 2000 on the way back). Most believed it would take only a few days to force the government down. To be fair, the yellows had it much easier, they lived 'around the corner' or they were just better organized. Imagine, 4 days in scorching hot bkk without fresh clothes or showers.
TAWP Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 They have makeshift showers and sleeping-places under large raised semi-tents.
Thaising Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Four days salary is all I get and was told no more fund is coming therefore I have to quit. Beside our core leaders doesn’t even know which route to take and lead us around like sheeps under the heat. Now our core leaders are quarreling against each other about how to divide and share Thaksin’s money. Show over I have to leave.
