travel agent here in BKK. I am trying to get flights to Korea but all the airlines are charging an arm and a leg.

I've used thaifly for many years with no problems.

When are you planning on leaving? I booked a flight to the states a few weeks back and it took some looking around to get from BKK to Korea, Japan, or Taiwan. Everything was booked solid. Getting from either of those three layover's to the states was not a problem.

not in bkk but in pattaya , you can google them or call them, massic travel 2nd rd pattaya. they advertise in bkk post also, i allways go through them

I always liked April Travel. I think they are on 5th floor of the same building that holds Sizzler next the big round tower on Thong Lo, near the intersection with Sukhumvit.

edit: I found a map here where you can see where Sizzler is and April Travel should be there. At least it was, but i haven't been there for a while.
