For extension of stay based on marriage, which is what I believe you may be talking about, you would need an embassy income letter if income is from abroad, or tax receipts if income is from within Thailand.

Thanks, i was told that atm receipts are now acceptable, so would like to know if yes or no for sure.

The visa is thai child support and I am wanting to change from the 400k for 3 months to the 40k per month thingy and as yesterday was the point of no return for the 400k....I need to find the 40k options now.

AFAIK ATM receipt are not proof of income, but who knows... it seems various Immigration offices make up rules as they go so you never know. Probably the best would be to ask in your local immigration office.

ATM receipts are only used to confirm an account balance on day of application for extension of stay from any reports I have seen. They have never been accepted as proof of income.
