After Multichoices Decision To Cut Off Their Beam Over Thailand.

Featured Replies

After multichoice's decision to cut off their beam over Thailand.

Dream has now followed and their beam is now announced to disappear within the next 90 days, when they move to Koreasat 5.

Can anybody translate as I haven't a clue what the guy is on about ? :)

Well no big deal, even if multichoice cancel its signal here. We stll can get sports channels from Astro. We even hv HD channels for Astro too.

Contact me if any of u r interested. Astro is confirm to hv 64 live matches in tis 2010 world cup.

I think he is saying that a Dream ( I assume a Honda Dream) shut off it's beam (presumably instead of just switching to low beams).

I think then he goes on to say that this has annoyed the Koreans.

This whole saga must be tied into Kia somehow.

Multichoice is cable TV service. I use the service in South Africa and Nigeria, But I have seen it very many places in Thailand, its quite popular with farang bars and people that like contact sports like rugby and aussie rules.

WAAAAH WAAAAH WAAAAH :):D:D

Apparently May the 10th.

They will stop transmitting on the omni-directional C-band beam, and will only transmit on the directional ku-band beams aimed at the African continent.

Dream Satellite TV on Agila 2, watched by thousands in Thailand will shortly be moving to a New Satellite ( Koreasat 5 )

so, like Multichoice will No longer be viewable from Thailand.

No big loss. Dream has as poor picture/sound quality as UBC.
