"For 12 days only, the SIA Mid-Year Promotion will offer great value airfares and holiday packages to fabulous destinations. Bookings must be completed by 05 June 2005. You can conveniently book online at... " SQ Web Site.

but poster did not care to note from which country this was? in fact, Ive returned from NL(AMS)-SIN-OZ (open), just a week ago on another of their s'sales'' with enough miles in my TG/ROP-account from it to get another 'free'flight. again: not everyone on this board is from the lucky country of OZ or another $$payer.

....err Thailand. The forum is called Thai Visa Expat Forum. :o

Here are the prices from SQ web site and are in THB.These are the cheapest ones with no miles to be gained and no Tax.Singapore certainly looks cheap for a visa run.

Return airfares from bankok to..

Singapore 3,000

Osaka 11,500

Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney 14,500

Perth 11500

Auckland, Christchurch 23500

Amsterdam, Frankfurt, 23500

London, Zurich

Capetown, Johannesburg 23500

To get 'w' class and earn miles, the prices are a little more expensive.

etc

Umm, the link provided clearly shows

http://www.singaporeair.com/thailand

which is the Thailand dedicated website for Singapore Airw, and shows prices ex-Thailand in THB

what does lucky country of Oz or $$payer mean?

chuchok - I looked at the fares but only found the ones which need 2 persons travelling together - did I miss any which are for lone travellers? The fares are pretty good, but if I book one I will be travelling on my own.

When you click on the page, click on " SIA Mid-Year Promotion " and not the wow deals. These ones are better again. You get two prices..one with mile accrued and ones without.

Really cheap for a class airline IMO.

Edit...just checked again..It is for two people togeather.Doh! :o
