Where Can I Find These?

Featured Replies

HIYA!

I'm looking for the following. I'm told they're available in Thailand. Also, I'm told that the Chaya is available in Cambodia. I've searched this forum for the common names / English names but didn't find anything.

Abelmoschus manihot - Bele/Pacific Spinach/Edible Hibiscus

Celosia argentea – Lagos Spinach/Quailgrass - Green

Celosia argentea - Lagos Spinach/Quailgrass - Mixed

Cnidoscolus chayamansa – Chaya

Corchorus olitorius – Jew\'s Mallow/Jute Mallow

Annona squamosa X A. cherimola - Atemoya

Cyphomandra betacea – Tamarillo/Tree Tomato

Diospyros digyna - Black Sapote

Eriobotrya japonica -Loquat

Thanks a ton.

Troy.

You don't say where you are, so presuming you're in the BKK area, print 6x4 photos of what you want and

show them to the plant vendors at JJ Market & Sanam Luang 2.

Using English or Latin names in Thailand is useless.

Good luck. :)

Source of good pix is toptropicals.com otherwise, Google images, one by one.

Well, no, I'm not in Thailand. I'm in Central America at the moment! I want to have these seeds sent to some friends in Thailand. Thanks for your input. I'll keep trying, unless it becomes no longer worth the effort!

Thanks, Troy.

Hello troysantos, try: http://www.banana-tree.com/ they are in the US, I've used them a few tines, the are slow but good.

The other place to hunt for seed is: www.seedquest.com they have a tropical section for finding seed.

They also list seed co's by country under 'whitepages' link on the L/H side of the home page.
