I have had a look at the vfs website but cant see any details regarding payment details for on line applications.

Can anyone with experience of this advise on if you make an on line application how payment is made to them.

You cannot pay online in Bangkok, there are some countries that provide this facility but sadly Thailand isn't one of them.

You have to pay by 'Cashiers Cheque' or 'Bankers Draft' when the hard copy copy of the application is submitted and the biometric process undertaken.

yup this is correct.

Be sure to check the amount too as I bought a cashiers cheque on the friday (to save time on monday morning) and by monday it was unacceptable as they had changed the price over the weekend - no slack or compassion I had to go back on tuesday with a new cashiers cheque.

There's a bank on the ground floor of Regent House where your wife/gf can get the bank draft on the day she goes to take all the paperwork and have her biometrics done if she wants to.
