Suspicion surrounds fatal fall of Thai Woman at Center Condo in South Pattaya

PATTAYA:-- Just after 10pm on Wednesday, Police and Rescue Services made their way to the Center Condotel located off the South Pattaya Road to investigate the death of a Thai Woman who had apparently fallen from a 6th floor window. The body of Khun Lamoot aged 44 was found slumped over motorbikes parked on the ground floor, directly under the room and had fallen through a flat roof over the car park area. It was determined she had fallen from room number 212 which was found to be occupied by Mr. Sven Verner Edvardsen aged 56 from Norway.

Does anyone else but me think this sounds like foul play ?

I wonder how good the forensics department is here ?

Where would we hear if this Norway guy has been charged ?

Suicide - just like everyone else that "falls" from an apartment at great hight unless there is an earn in it for the local uniforms!!!

Which in this case there may well be

Foul play?

This is the assumption everone makes.

Not necessarily. It may be an accident.

Accident? Yeah, right. You don't get around much, do you? She did not know him, he just picked her up on WS. Look at the pictures of the window. If you decide to kill yourself by jumping from a window, which is not so easy, you would not throw yourself through the blinds. Next time, please try to think before writing.

The handrails on the balcony's at center condo are only 38" as opposed the regulation height of 42" in the UK, not hard to fall over if pushed hard enough

If he did leave the room to buy food he will have be been caught on the security camera in the lobby

The height of the handrail is irrelevant in this case :

She fall/went from the kitchen window, not from the balcony...

BTW, if someone wanted to jump they would most likely do it from the balcony.

Hi,

I am right now making some small work in my condo (DIY)

As I had a meter in the hand I remember this message

and took measurements of Center Condo balcony's height :

I found about 1.09 m, and according to Google it's 43"... :D

I will never understand why some people

always try to post false information on Internet forums... :)

Then she flew an extra 7 feet since the kitchen in that apartment is recessed towards the back of the building

All you have to do is look at the broken ceiling on the overhang and it is obvious that she fell straight down from the balcony

BTW. Yesterday the workers at Center Condo wrapped the entire condo building in a single strand of white string after they placed a meal on a table next to where the body landed

Is purpose of the white string to keep her " spirit " happy ?

Obviously the height of handrails in center condo vary this is the height of my friends room on the 5th floor as all can plainly see the height is 39" when I rented a room on the 6th (where she exited) WAS 38" so it's not false information and I ask you to retract you statement or we can meet in the carpark and discuss it further :D

This story is getting wider air play

My TG says there was a report on Channel 3 News last night after the soaps

Evidently one of the proponents of woman's rights here in Thailand is championing for the ladies relatives to obtain some answers from the police

(Kuhn Prawina) sic. ?
