My very good chum in Chiang Mai spent a year trying to find a decent one that was sensibly priced but without success, he eventually bought a used one in the UK and had it shipped over and he thinks it's ideal and very cost effective.

The John Deere dealers may be able get something in for you thru their overseas suppliers. JD make some good ones in about any size you want, (cutting width, HP, etc)

HomePro in Chiang Mai sell Craftsman ride on mowers, priced approx 150,000 to 180,000 baht.  There's an Aussie guy up in Phan, Chiang Rai who is dealer for Husqvarna mowers, he has a website, pm me for details.  I was lucky, got a secondhand one through him.  There's a shop in Chiang Mai that sells 6.5 Hp ride on mowers for about 78,000 baht, but small cutting width   Good luck finding one, they're expensive here.

My friend in Chiang Mai just sold his house and is moving to a condo in Pattaya, He bought a new Craftsman about 2 months ago in Homepro for about 180,000B and used it 3 times, then decided to sell his house.

Its for sale now for 130,000.

Gotlost.....I like the design of the local made [or chinese?] iron buffalow type and the interchangability, but the website is typically garbage local made. Had to shut it dwon, as it took forever to load and still hard to navigate even with google translator. Bottom line, what are the prices???
