Hi All,

I have 3 AM staffys at the Moment 2 females and 1 Male, they were all brought in Chang Rai, Different Parents etc.

Was wondering does anyone know where else to buy them in Thailand, as the Breeder in Chiang Rai has pretty well stopped breeding dogs now.The colours of my dogs from Chiang rai are brown and white, i also have 1 Bitch that is Balck and white, but i cant breed with her as she had an infection and we had to get her de-sexed.

I would like to Buy a Blue coloured staffy and eventually breed them along with my other Bitch, I wouldnt be looking for another Dog for 12 months, but thought i 'd get the feelers out early.

Also does anyone know much about the Injections to stop your dog from coming on heat, i have a pup that 9 weeks old and when she around 8 to 10 months i was thinking of getting this done, just the once and let her have pups on the second time round. Reason for this i work away and i couldnt leave this to my wife to make sure she didnt fall victim to our male Staffy or anyother dog for that matter.

I read a bit about Chatuchuk markets etc, but didnt get very good reports, i'm sure there must be AM staffy breeders in BKK.

anyway thanks in Advance

Since you are not looking for another dog for a while you should get yourself a subscription to Anajak Magazine. This is a monthly magazine dedicated to Am Staffs/APBT.

www.anajakmagazine.com

We have two lovely male Am Staffs (Harry & George) which we purchased from one of the top breeders in Thailand (top 5 for sure) and they have been wonderful. Great temperament, superb with our two daughters, even good with other dogs.

Good Am Staffs dont come cheap, you can expect to pay upwards of 30,000 Baht for a real good one. Since you want to breed you should always buy the very best! Definitely do not buy from Chatuchak market, if they are not diseased the Am Staffs available there are very poor specimens of the breed. It seems a lot of the breeders are situated around the Chon Buri area. Not sure where you are?

If you require any more info please send me a pm.

Regards,

Stewart

Some of the good breeders are at Impact Muangthong Tani today for the Thai International Dog Show: lots of stuff to see too. All the food comapnies are there, dog equipment and also loads of puppies but i would not recommend being on impulse.
