Thai Embassy Vientianne Holiday On 28th April?

is it a holiday on 28th? In PP Cambodia they are closed, but vientianne has no holiday marked on their calender on the web site. just want to double check.

I see nok air has a flight that arrives in udon at 7:05am, perfect, but is there a mini van to the border at that time? And cars from the bridge to vientiane?

I deleted my first post about it being a holiday. I have checked a few websites and each gives different public days for Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. I have now checked the webiste of the Thai embassy in Laos and it doesn't say it is closed on the 28th of April as it isn't a public holiday. The 28th of May is.

So the consulate will be open as it is not a public holiday.

oh, and what time does the border open?

6 AM onwards, the Thai Embassy is , this week open Monday to Friday.

They are closed , next week , on Monday and Wednesday.
