Looking For Convenient/comfortable Wi-fi Spot Under 100 Baht.

Featured Replies

I was looking for a free wifi place in the central Bangkok area near the BTS or MRT. (around Rachada, Sukumwit, Siam area). A place within a few kilometers from the Lad Phrao MRT station would be ok too.

I looked over ‘Stickmans’ list but it didn’t provide the details I was looking for.

Specifically, I was looking for a place that has a nice environment to spend about 4 hours surfing the net. A good example is Coffeeworld, which I enjoy, but looking for other places. Anywhere I can spend under 100 baht would be ok (Coffeeworld is about 70 baht for coffee). I don’t think a bar would be that convenient, nor a hotel lobby (I don’t think the staff would want an internet surfer sitting in their lobby). A café might be ok if it is air conditioned and enough space so the owner doesn’t mind someone sitting there for 4 hours. I don’t need a power outlet.

Coffee places are ok. A place that serves food would be even better.

Thanks for the help.

When I lived in Bangkok for 6 months during 2006, the sumptuous place I would go for free WiFi was the 24 hour biz center of the Sheraton Royal Orchid on the mezzanine... but that was then; now, who knows?

BTW it was convenient for me because it is right at one of the ferry stops from Klong San.
