Jingthing
Couldn't agree more.I wonder what would happen should a patient die as a direct result of the storming of the hospital? There is a one month old baby patient being transferred and doctors have described the transfer as risky It would difficult to prove the direct causation without a doubt. I don't know about Thai civil law though. Perhaps the red shirt leader criminals behind the hospital attack can be charged for financial damages, as we all know they are soaking in Thaksin booty. sharkwatch
Can somebody explain me what is waiting the government to send 10000 soldiers to bash all these retarded reds ?Serious question, I can't understand. There is a measurable percentage of the Reds that are heavily armed. (See the videos from April 10th etc to verify this) History in Thailand suggests that a government that cracks down on citizens and causes deaths cannot survive. The (perhaps false) belief that blood on the streets will topple ANY government in Thailand explains why the reds are so intent on creating martyrs. This MAY be an outdated belief in that Thaksin cracked down on "drugs" and killed 2600+ Thai citizens without trial and of whom MANY were in no way involved with the drug trade. Not only did his government survive but it was re-elected. Since the violence of April 10th (Red violence that elicited a response from the government) there has not been an increased cry for the dissolution of parliament, and in fact the Reds have lost credibility AND support. This may indicate that Thai people are now seeing that there may be times when a Thai government may have to crack down on violent lawless elements in society. What a nonsense. The reds are not intent on creating martyrs. t This is a typical yellow mindset, but not everybody is that lunatic. The reds mourn their death of course, but not worship them to the extreme as the PAD did. This was one of Maj. Gen. jdinasia
And here it is ---- Reds defending the hospital Raid AND denying that reds were armed yesterday at Don Muang. Red-shirt Leader Defends Hospital RaidBANGKOK: -- A red-shirt leader said his group's raid on Chulalongkorn Hospital last night was aimed at preventing an attack from soldiers they believed were hiding in there. Red-shirt leader Natthawut Saikeu insisted his group was monitoring movement within the Chulalongkorn Hospital and believed armed military men were using one of its buildings as a shelter because food supplies have been delivered there. Natthawut claimed last night's raid stemmed from concerns that soldiers who were inside the hospital could shoot protesters as was the case during the clash on Vibhavadhi Rangsit Road. The red-shirt leader claimed that the group could not find soldiers in the hospital compound because their commander was alerted about the move disclosed on the rally stage so all soldiers were ordered to leave the hospital. Natthawut claimed they returned at 9 p.m. so the group decided to raid the building. He also said soldiers in the hospital building opened fire at protesters when they entered. However, Natthawut apologized to the hospital's staff and patients over the inappropriate behavior of some protesters and red-shirt guards, but asked for sympathy as they are waging this political war with their bear hands. He said from now on, Weng Tojirakarn will take charge of coordinating with the hospital but he warned other hospitals against providing shelter to armed soldiers. Natthawut also called on the government to present evidence for allegations against red-shirt core leaders in a campaign to topple the Monarchy because such charges are very severe and could stir political discord. He also denied the group's alleged involvement in armed masked men carrying guns during the clash on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, insisting there in no evidence to prove the accusation. Natthawut pointed fingers at the government for possibly setting up those scenes. Meanwhile, another red-shirt leader Weng Tojirakarn said his group has the highest respect for the medical profession, but if the prime minister is using hospitals as part of the political war, he and the CRES director must be held responsible. He affirmed the group will not interfere with Chulalongkorn Hospital in the future. At the same time, red-shirt leaders who led protesters in last night's raid on Chulalongkorn Hospital asked the management of private companies not to offer shelter to soldiers. They also asked military officers to exercise their own judgment on orders from their commanding units. Robby nz
Red shirts may stop blocking Pathumwan, Chidlom intersections The red-shirt protesters may stop blocking the Pathumwan and Childlom intersections so that a school and some shopping centres could be reopened, Suporn Atthawong, a leader said Friday. Suporn said the red-shirt leaders may make a decision in the evening to stop blocking the two intersections, especially the Pathumwan. Suporn said bunkers at the Pathumwan intersection might be removed and the protesters might pull back until the Chalermpao Intersection so that Siam Paragon and Siam Center could be reopened. He said the blockade at the Chidlom Intersection might be ended because Mater Dei School, which is located there, will be reopened next month. Suporn said the red-shirt leaders were discussion how to facilitate parents and students traveling to the school but have not reached a conclusion yet. Suporn said the red-shirt leaders might also allow the traffic on the Henri Dunant to be resumed. Chamlong called for people to do their duty, not martyr themselves. The bodies that the reds stole from the hospital and then paraded on stage and then later at the monument was obvious martyrdom tactics. Looked just like a page was taken from the Hamas playbook, in fact. The Reds have called not for people to stand firm .. but for violence and to fight to the death! (wasn't that jatuporn, yesterday?)
