Dear All

I have a few questions which I find I just can't ask the authorities here in the UK.

1. When my girlfriend comes over on a 6 month visa to the Uk from thailand what will happen if she stays for 2 years instead? What would happen when she tries to leave assuming she doesn't get caught before that?

2. Is the worst thing that can happen that they will deport her if they find out she is there illegally? as well as presumably not being too keen to let her back in again.

3. Can I get in trouble for harbouring an illegal?

4. Would have been deported from the UK effect the ability to get visitor visas in other countries?

You can see why i can't really tell the authorities that I'm planning on breaking the rules and I'm kind of curious what they'll do if we get caught.

Oh and one last thing.

5. Do you think this is a good idea or is there another less dodgy way that I am unaware of?

any help on this front will be very helpful.

All of your questions will land you in deep shit. She will get locked up then deported then blacklisted and she will probably never be allowed to get a visa again (not just for the UK.

Also you'll be messing up her chances in the future regarding travelling outside of thailand.

And yes you will be charged with harbouring an illegal alien. :o

To take your points in order:-

1. If she doesn't get caught, she will just get on her plane and go.

2. Yes.

3. There are 2 offences: facilitating the entry to the UK of an illegal entrant and also of harbouring.

4. She would find it nigh on impossible to get a visa for any other Western country.

5. I would not recommend it for the reason that indirectly she would be f*cking up other people's chances of getting visas. Why doesn't she just visit for 6 months and then get another visit visa. Alternatively, marry her and she could legitimately stay for 2 years.

There are two scenarios here.

1. This is a troll post

2. You are unfortunately from my county and as the moog above has hinted at but has been too kind in not stating out loud. STUPID behaviour like 'wot thar suggestin' only causes the rest of us a great deal of trouble when we go to the Embassy as I can well testify to.

Has anyone else noticed that a great percentage of guys making enquiries here on visa matters for Thai girls are British.

Yeah, but at least most of us Brits don't make such moronic posts :D

Answering the OP, don't even think about it, you will balls it up for your GF in future and for the rest of us who may want to get visas for our TG/TW :o

I suspect the moderators will close this soon, discussing illegal activities is not permitted. SCOUSER, flex your nice new moderator muscle. :D:D

You Poms are going to suffer enough embarrassment over the forth coming ashes series without this guy admitting he is one of yours? :o

Poor Scouse is yet to find the muscle button. He'll find it very soon for the likes of the OP. Meanwhile, I'll close it lest Her Majesty's Government think TV is not their friend. :D
