Bangkok: Red-Shirts Slam Chulalongkorn Hospital For Evacuating Patients

It is disgusting and disgraceful that this hospital incident has been used as propaganda by Team Yellow, and patients have been moved for no reason other than for photo's by the craving Yellow media channels.

The Reds did not take weapons in.

They hurt nobody.

They beat nobody.

They killed nobody.

Nobody died.

Nobody suffered.

It was just a minor inconvenience for a short period of time.

What is disgusting is the Yellow media making all this patient moving happen just so they can take photo's for the propaganda.

Obviously you will post the same kind of unsavory crap the day these armed thugs raid the school of your kids, right?

More lies ----

They did take 2 employees prisoner and removed them from the hospital grounds.

People suffered.

Staff and patients were frightened.

Many people were inconvenienced and we do NOT know that this did not lead to loss of life.

There are photos of people carrying weapons in.

more lies from levelhead ----

One thing is for sure, I would not want any of my family members, to be patients, in that hospital right now. I would be very scared for them, with all the demonstrations and violence, that has occured outside. Add to that, Reds coming in before, to grab bodies (so they could display them for their propaganda purposes) and then, a few days later, invading the hospital again, with more than 100 people, to look for soldiers???? What if they found soldiers????

Evacuating the hospital, was the only sensible thing to do, at this point.

propaganda, I would say more like

destruction of evidence how these poor souls lost their lives, one day the truth will prevail,Mr A is doing what he can, dont forget he is trying to run a country while all this is happening its not ALL about red shirts,he has many pressing issues to deal with but of course that is of little consequence to the "mostly poor rural peeps" He will become Thailands longest serving leader once this has settled and lotsa heads are gunna roll IMHO

I hope Jatupon takes on Seh Daeng single handed, reds fighting reds at Lumpini Park, that would be fun.

Could be a strong possibility of that happening .There certainly seems to be a divide amongst the Red Shirt Brigade leadership one can see the mad Major General on stage countermanding the orders of brothers number 1 - 4.

The bonus is that it is very likely to develop into a divide and rule scenario thus leading to the dispersal of the sheeple who have been led like lambs to the slaughter by a bunch of illiterate unprincipled self serving thugs who are the biggest enemy to democracy contrary to their skewed comments.

No loss of life would indeed be a wonderful outcome, however I feel that the hard core remnants would indeed try to do as much damage as possible prior to fleeing from the scene.Arson attacks indiscriminate slaughter of innocents looting etc.

Such actions although reprehensible would certainly enlighten people as to the true colours of the people and the political party involved and cause a hardening of attitudes against the aforementioned people and party thus ensuring a crushing defeat for them.

Hopefully the ringleaders will be brought to justice . The mad Major General is probably facing a firing squad as did a previous coup leader with the rank of General did some years ago, you play for major (general) stakes you lose major (general) stakes.

The rest of the social misfits, possibly a death penalty however I am of the opinion that long prison terms will be the order of the day if they are captured.

In years gone by of course people fell out of helicopters rough justice took over or they fled to places like Denmark.

Seadung would take out the fat boy in seconds, unless Jatuporn fell on him,

but then someone would try to drill the mad dog, for killing the rotund one,

and all the guards would go 3D shooting gallery for a spell.

Would certainly solve several issues, if legal justice is not one of them.

The Reds did not take weapons in.

Another red shirts PR lies.

A friend of mine was working at Chula that day. He's an eye-witness. He confirms me he saw them carrying (at least) sharpened bamboo sticks and makeshift bamboo-rocket in the hospital.

And before you pretend it shouldn't be considered as weapons I'll tell you you don't need more to kill somebody on the spot and that's the purpose of these sticks.

That's the definition of weapons.

This red-shirt propaganda is sickening.

As enjoyable as that would be to watch, it's all a façade; an attempt at misdirection to move blame away from the leaders. I absolutely do not buy any of it.

My wife, who is usually right, though it is hard to imagine in this case, maintains Seh Daeng is actually working for Prem in some capacity. He likes to give the impression of being crazed (which is working BTW) but she says he's smarter than all the Reds put together and would not turn on his King and country. She says something just doesn't fit right. Part of me wishes she is right but another part wishes I could win just one argument. :)

If anyone he works for Thaksin, and Panalop,

who has been mysteriously silent for months now....

And certainly Big Jiew exercises no control over the Sea slug.

Chavolit was never more then a disfigure head.

Clearly you underestimate the seriousness of the red shirt actions at Chula. It doesn't matter if people were injured or died. That is not the point at all. The red shirts violated the sanctity of a hospital and interfered with medical workers. This is considered worldwide as a travesty and unforgivable. It is a war crime and against the Geneva Convention. You may disagree but the rest of the world will not be on your side on this.

You are so red already, so it is no idea to give you a red card!

He claims that the center of the earth is red jam. It is his right, we have to accept it, but it is our right to ignore him.

Up to the invasion of the hospital maybe the most that the patients had to put up with was the noise from outside. Maybe they were reasonably safe. The hospital staff and patients family members have to pass through the protest zone each day. If the long awaited crackdown comes they will be in a dangerous area, not to mention the night time scuffles between rival protesters. It isn't fair to them to make them run the gauntlet on a daily basis to serve the public. Same goes for many businesses and embassies in the immediate area. Innocent people could be caught in the line of fire should things deteriorate. The patients at Chula are better off now in other facilities where they don't have to worry whether their doctors and nurses will arrive alive each day. For the sake of all other persons who have to navigate the surrounding streets each day I hope the protests end without violence, and soon.

Levelhead is a troll whose sole intention is to incite anger & enrage other posters. Considering his provocative posts and blatant lies, I wouldn't be surprised if he was actually quite yellow, aiming to get more people to despise the red (as if they needed any help for that purpose).

And these protests have nothing to do with Thaksin:

As I posted on another thread earlier this week ...

Reds are running for Stella Awards 2010 ! :)

Example of typical nominee:

A convicted bank robber on parole entered a bank, went up to the teller, and said, "Give me the money. I've got a bomb." The bank teller did as instructed, except that hidden in the rolls of money turned over to the robber was an anti-robbery device that released tear gas. The device functioned as intended .. and the robber sued the bank.

It was VERY stupid to attack a hospital... let's be honest - but to evacuate is pure 'theater' and politically motivated - no doubt - but who's brainwave was it to attck n the first place? here's a gun - now's where's my foot?

Dr Thirawat Hemajutha at Chulalongkorn Hospital said although the Red Shirts have reopened Ratchadamri Road where the hospital entrance is located, it is meaningless because the hospital has stopped providing services.

He said the hospital is now only advising outpatients where they can buy the medications needed for their treatment.

Dr Thirawat stressed that the evcuation of patients was not related to political issues but the hospital was corcerned for the safety of the patients.

If there was emergency incident or bomb attack, the hospital staff could manage to escape but the patients could not do the same, he said.

Not really, its been on the cards for a while I guess.

With the lack of proper access, the horrendous noise from just outside, the constant threat that this might turn violent, hygiene issues and so on and so on.... this was just simple the last straw.

Gen Khattiya, now temporarily suspended from duty following his attacks on the army chief,

Temporarily suspended? What a complete and utter joke. Is he still pulling a salary i wonder? What is it that makes sacking a person from the army or the police such an impossibility?

He is a high-ranking member of the military, he couldn't just be sacked on a suspicion. (The attack on Anupong's residence). He COULD be sacked for his public statements and participation with the Reds. Anupong has suggested that Sae Daeng is the Army's problem to deal with.

I am suspecting a court-martial and summary execution at some point.

Wouldn't surprise that there is a wall and a last cigarette waiting for him.

His back is against a different wall now ,and that makes him even more of

the loose cannon he has been.

Don't think the goverment are in the business of making martyrs of anyone, Abhisit isn't stupid, But perhaps he'll get caught in the crossfire somehow one day soon?.

Ah ... the beauty of this scenario is that Abhisit doesn't create the martyr. Anupong (or whoever is head of the military) would be responsible for the court-martial and execution of a rogue general.

If the violent red mob thought nothing of kidnapping 2 workers, why would they stop at that?

The fact that it was a medical decision made by the Dr's and the Administration makes people calling this a political ploy just as reprehensible as the reds going in to a hospital (again!).

As "pure 'theater' and politically motivated" it might be (or not), it was ultimately a pro-active decision to help save lifes. Too often we see people in charge making changes and corrections AFTER the dammages happened; now we see the hospital trying to help and make corrective actions before worst happens. Up to you how you interpret this, but if my relatives or myself were in that hospital under those conditions, I would feel more comfortable to be moved to another more quiet location.

Would you send your family member in need of an emergency operation to Chula Hospital today, right now?

Or conversely, he is as likely a troll trying to get us to over react, and get the

more impassioned and lucid of us to walk into bans and be silenced.

Can't sell lies to a credulous world if there are those telling the truth BETTER than your side.

So get rid of those truth tellers. That is one of the necessary Perception Management techniques.

If you have intelligent poster not buying the store/story line that must be sold for the client

and bringing others farther from the theme, there are two main options.

Denigrate them and try and diminish their stature within the group dynamic,

or provoke them into an outright ban from anger, and thus gone for good.

Also there is the even more insidious false flag friend ploy, of starting as one character

to dig up info from a opposing 'sympatico' voice, and then either change to your real flag

and use the info to belittle, or pass it to another alias or a partner and let them do the public slagging.

Of course there are also a variety of true-believer types who latch onto ANYTHING matching their prejudices,

and never let go hel_l or high water, and these are the PM pros best targets because then the big lie as 'idea'

will snowball along in the minds of assorted credulous and prolific posting individuals.

I think LevelHead should be head of PR for Team Red. His ludicrous views of the situation are a perfect example of the reds thinking and world view and everything they stand for.

Thanks Levelhead, without you some people might be falsely tempted into thinking the reds had a rational cause.
