Work Permit Chiang Mai

Hi,

I'm planning to start a co .ltd company in Chiang Mai and i would like to know how many Thai employee i need to be able to get a work permit.

The official rule is 4 Thai employees for every work permit issued (unless married to Thai where figure drops to 2), but labour offices can often be flexible in new business start-up situations so long as they can see business plan with intention of employing appropriate number of Thais in the not too distant futue. Would suggest you have a chat with local labour office as to their specific requirements.
