Need Advice - Should I Tell Friend

Featured Replies

Recently my friend started a relationship with a bar girl - he's in love and has been to her village in Buriram and met her family. He met her while visiting and doesn't live here. She has told him she has a kid, is divorced and stopped working at the bar after they met. The girlfriend in question told my friend who is also Isarn that she is has a kid, a husband and is still working at the bar and she stopped working for 2 weeks while he was in town last visit. Should I tell my friend this? This is going to kill him and he lives in a small isolated area without much support. If my information turns out wrong or she lies, I am going to be the bad guy - and he wants to marry her so I will probably lose a friend of 10 years - guy is like a brother to me.

the golden rule.. treat people how you want to be treated.. if the shoe was on the other foot, would you want your friend to tell you?

2 choices: tell him or let him sink or swim, how would you like to be treated under the same conditions??

Maybe you could suggest to him something like..."did you ever consider the possibilty that .......bla bla might be happening?

"ive heard sometimes these girls will do ....bla bla"

It might open him up to the possibilites without you actually telling him whats going on

i guess thats what id do anyway

sad situation though, but really he should know better

how old is he?
